It is the ideal base to explore the Western Lake District, and the Cumbrian coastline. Ennerdale Water and Wast Water, near to Scafell Pike, are within easy driving distance.

Cycling and walking are enjoyable in this quiet area of the Lake District which has something for everyone. Shop 0.25 miles, pub and restaurant 450 yards.
